Hi

i want to connect kepler provenance recorder to my sql data base (information attached), but i face problem( error message attached).

the connection can make appropriate tables to store data but cannot store data and error message appear to screen "Data too long for column". i try to save different type of data with different size, but it make no difference and again i see this message.

i will appreciate if you can help me.

Hi Mehdi,

 

This was a bug in the provenance module, but was fixed last year. A workaround is to increase the size of the module_dependencies column in the workflow_exec table. See http://bugzilla.ecoinformatics.org/show_bug.cgi?id=5302.

 

Alternatively, you can drop the provenance database and use the latest Kepler.
