Work in Progress
We are developing code to assemble workflows in Kepler which speak to Clotho via Java's Remote Method Invocation (RMI) API. There is a new Clotho tool for connecting to other programs via RMI. We have developed a Kepler actor which also communicates via RMI. Together Kepler can receive information from Clotho related to the physical assembly requirements for a composite device (a collection of individual DNA parts). A set of actors has now been created which will generate files for liquid handling robots from this assembly information to make the actual creation of the device a reality. We have also created a workflow which will generate spreadsheet information for the design of oligonucleotide sequences as well.
