Yeah, I agree the poster's name would be useful for the forum posts.  I'll request that.

I'm getting email for the website changes, so it took me a while to realize that in T-Bird I need to view the headers to get the web page.  Ideally, the website changes message would at least include the log message for the change.  I think this is the varies of the RSS->Email feed though . . . About the forum email, it would be nice if the message included the name of the poster.  In that way it would be possible for me to follow a forum discussion without going to the website. However, none of these requests for enhancement are very important, the forum and website email updates seem to be working ok.

Sounds like emailing kepler-dev is the more popular option for now. I'll post some comments there.

I think the web site changes being URLs only was done intentionally, because its really not very readable to send a diff of a web page, and the pages themselves can be long and full of formatting.  So its really just a notification that the page changed.  In an RSS reader its easy to click on the URL and see the page in the reader, which is how I follow those.  I mainly use the email gateway fo rthe forum posts.

Right, I'm getting the text of the forum posts, but the updates to the websites are blank.  Sorry for any confusion here, I was commenting on the website updates being emailed, which are separate from the forum posts being emailed.

If you subscribe to the feeds of the individual forums you get post text in the body.
